Unfortunately due to the Covid 19 situation we have had to cancel this years event. We will be back for Race The Dragon 2021, bigger and better.
Race the Dragon has been held every year for over 25 years right in the heart of Worcester on the River Severn.
Up to 30 teams enter each year to compete for Open, Women’s, Mixed and Under 18 trophies, raising thousands of pounds for charity and this year we are supporting Worcester Warriors Dementia Cafe.
With parking and the City centre both in easy walking distance Race the Dragon is a family friendly event that is fun to watch and be a part of. Come along to support teams and cheer them on as they race throughout the day.
The date for this year’s awesomely fun and competitive day is Sunday 5th July. Attached here, you will find the entry form, a Frequently Asked Questions document (FAQ) and a poster to help advertise the event.
The standard entry fee is £250 per crew, which includes the use of boats & paddles and buoyancy aids, one training session and at least 3 races on the day.
A special entry fee of £125 applies for Junior / U18 crews.
So, start to gather your team and as soon as you are able, get your entry form and deposit in to guarantee your place!
Our chosen charity this year is Worcester Warriors Dementia Cafe.
Keep an eye out for an invite to a new e-mail communication group,
wdbrc-rtdcrews@googlegroups.com, accept the invite by clicking on the link, then you will be able to get all updates about training times and the day itself.

See you on the water!
One group who took part in 2019 was the Worcester Chinese Association who made a fantastic video of their day.
